Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Valid Michigan Administrative Certificate for K-12 Education
3-5 years of proven experience in educational leadership or a similar administrative role.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage school resources effectively and equitably.
Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
Proficient in using technology to enhance educational and administrative processes.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to promote a safe, positive, and inclusive school culture.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve educational outcomes.
Oversee school operations, including curriculum development, budget management, and staff evaluation.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional development for teachers and staff.
Engage with students, staff, parents, and community members to build partnerships and enhance educational opportunities.
Ensure compliance with state and federal educational policies and regulations.
Lead initiatives to integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into the curriculum.
Analyze student performance data to inform decision-making and enhance teaching and learning processes.
Meeting with parents and administrators regularly for problem resolution.
Enforcing discipline when necessary.
Providing an atmosphere free of any bias in which students can achieve their maximum potential.
Ensuring that academic policies and curriculum are followed.
Developing and tracking benchmarks for measuring institutional success.
