About The Position
The School Playground Recreation Aide will work at Green Oaks Elementary School. This is a permanent, part-time position with a work year of 10 months/year, 195 days/year, 5 days/week. The length of the work day is 3 hours, with work hours from Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 9:00 AM and 11:55 AM - 2:10 PM. The salary is $18.64 - $19.42 per hour plus anniversary/longevity increments. Requirements
- High school or GED
- Ability to work 3 hours per day, Monday - Friday, during specified hours.
- Ability to maintain a safe and positive playground environment.
- Understanding of playground safety rules and procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children in a school or recreational setting.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during playground activities.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for students.
- Enforce school rules and playground regulations.
- Assist students with games and activities.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff.
