About The Position
The School Playground Recreation Aide at Cameron Ranch School is a part-time, permanent position within the Support Staff & Services category. This role is responsible for supporting playground activities during the school year. The position is 10 months per year, 195 days per year, working 5 days a week for 2.25 hours per day. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 11:15 AM to 1:30 PM. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively with children.
- Understanding of playground safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children in a school or recreational setting.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during playground activities.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for students.
- Facilitate recreational activities.
- Monitor student behavior and address any issues that arise.
