About The Position

JostensPIX is seeking seasonal School Photographers to join their fast-growing team. This role involves capturing student memories at local schools. No prior photography experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The position offers seasonal flexibility, with work typically running from July through November, potentially extending into December. Photographers will use their personal vehicles to travel to schools, set up and operate photography equipment, and manage images using photo software. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on photography experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while interacting with children and traveling to new locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18+).
• A reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment.
• Ability to store camera equipment in home when not in use.
• A cheerful, friendly personality – especially around kids.
• Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities.
• Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills.
• Comfort working independently for smaller events after training.
• Reliable cell phone and internet access.
• Must reside in the La Crosse, WI area.
• May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state specific policies.

Responsibilities

• Capture genuine smiles and priceless school memories.
