About The Position
JostensPIX is seeking seasonal School Photographers to join their team. This role involves capturing school memories, traveling to local schools, and setting up photography equipment. No prior photography experience is required, as paid training will be provided. The position offers seasonal flexibility, with work typically running from August through November, and potential for extension. Candidates should be passionate about photography, enjoy working with children, and possess a positive attitude. The role also involves using photo software to manage images and building hands-on photography experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (must be 18+).
- A reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment.
- Ability to store camera equipment in home when not in use.
- A cheerful, friendly personality – especially around kids.
- Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities.
- Strong communication, customer service, and tech skills.
- Comfort working independently for smaller events after training.
- Comfortable working with computers / cameras and ability to learn new programs.
- Grooming and professional appearance that reflects Jostens’ standards.
- Reliable cell phone and internet access.
- Must reside in Lackawanna, NY or surrounding area.
- May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state specific policies.

Responsibilities
