About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year in Sebring, FL. This role involves joining a multidisciplinary team to help students master skills for a successful future. The position requires conducting specialized evaluations to determine students’ functional abilities and identify barriers to learning in fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care domains. The therapist will develop and implement goal-oriented Occupational Therapy interventions as part of the Individualized Education Program (IEP), provide in-person support, and consult with educators to implement environmental modifications and adaptive equipment. Maintaining detailed records and monitoring student data to ensure intervention effectiveness and alignment with educational objectives is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Florida State Occupational Therapy License
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
