About The Position
The School Nutrition Assistant works at Wallace Middle School, assisting the Child Nutrition Specialist with food production, preparation, sanitation, serving, and cleaning in the school cafeteria. The role also includes other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position for 5 hours per day for the remainder of the 2024–2025 school year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to lift and reach above the head.
- Willingness to become certified in Child Nutrition.
- Willingness to learn to operate the Point of Sale (POS) Terminal.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Child Nutrition Specialist with food production and preparation.
- Assist with sanitation, serving, and cleaning in the school cafeteria facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
