About The Position
The School Nutrition Assistant supports the Child Nutrition Specialist with food production, preparation, sanitation, serving, and cleaning in the school cafeteria, along with other duties as assigned. The role requires the ability to lift 35 pounds and to lift and reach above the head. The assistant must be willing to become certified in Child Nutrition and learn to operate the Point of Sale (POS) terminal. The position is part-time, four hours per day, for the 2026–2027 school year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
