About The Position

E-Therapy is hiring a compassionate, licensed School Nurse for an onsite 1:1 position in Richland, WA for the 26/27 School Year. This full-time role involves supporting elementary students' mental health and emotional well-being. E-Therapy is a pioneer in delivering high-quality nursing services to schools, aiming to provide accessible and impactful mental health and support services to students nationwide through a technology-driven platform.

Requirements

• Must hold a Nursing license in WA state and ESA certificate
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and healthcare providers.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students with acute or chronic health conditions, including but not limited to medication administration, wound care, catheterization, and tube feeding.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings, monitor vital signs, and assess students' overall health status to identify and address health concerns and emergencies.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans and accommodations for students with special health needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders, nursing protocols, and school policies, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Educate students, families, and school staff on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic health conditions, providing training and support as needed.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed, following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, medication logs, health assessments, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with school counselors, psychologists, and social workers to support students' mental health and emotional well-being as part of a multidisciplinary team.
