HS Nurse (PT)
About The Position
Solebury School is seeking a caring, compassionate, and experienced School Nurse to join our Health Services Team. In our close-knit boarding and day school community, our nurses do more than provide medical care-they become trusted adults, familiar faces, and an important source of support for our students. The School Nurse provides health care to students, faculty, and staff while creating a welcoming and supportive environment in the Health Services Center. The ideal candidate enjoys working with teenagers, brings sound clinical judgment and a calm presence, and understands that sometimes a student needs more than medical attention-they need someone who will listen, reassure them, and help them feel cared for. This is a part-time position working 1–3 shifts per week, with the option of a 10- or 12-month schedule. Shifts include a mix of day, evening, and weekend hours, coordinated with the Director of Health Services. Because Solebury is a boarding school, flexibility and a willingness to work evenings and weekends are essential. Summer opportunities are also available.
Requirements
- Graduates of an approved nursing program.
- Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation to and from school.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to establish eligibility for employment in the United States by providing appropriate documentation to complete the I-9 form and required certifications.
- National, state and local background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with adolescents or in a school setting.
- Experience with Magnus Health.
