About The Position

Camden Prep Nurses promote health and safety in the school environment and provide health services to students, faculty, and staff. As school health services specialists, nurses help students and staff attain or maintain optimum health and promote positive health habits and attitudes.

Requirements

• An LPN may qualify if willing to return to school to earn an RN degree and become school certified; tuition will be reimbursed.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic healthcare to students in cases of injury or acute illness.
• Track students’ vaccination records and follow up with families as needed.
• Update students’ medical histories and files.
• Help ensure the school environment is safe for children and staff, including preventing communicable diseases.
• Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
