School Nurse
About The Position
HealthPro Pediatrics is hiring a 1:1 School Nurse to join its school team in Covington, Georgia. The position is for a Georgia-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), providing nursing services to students and collaborating with school staff and families on student health and wellness. Services are delivered according to current best practices and prescribed services in each student’s IEP. The role also contributes to IEP development and maintains required documentation. This is a W-2, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week, consistent hours, no weekends or holidays, and summers off. The stated starting pay is $30 per hour or more for LPNs and $40 per hour or more for RNs. Full-time employees receive PTO accrual and year-round benefits. Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Georgia.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or public health setting.
- Seizure and respiratory experience required.

Responsibilities
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding students’ health and wellness.
- Participate in the IEP process by developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services.
- Provide nursing services using current best practices based on the services prescribed in the IEP.
- Maintain documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics, including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.
