About The Position

BAYADA Pediatrics is currently recruiting for a compassionate Nurse (LPN or LVN) to reliably serve school-aged pediatric clients (3 years old+) for the upcoming 2026/2-27 school year throughout Erie County. This role offers the opportunity for one-on-one care, allowing for the development of ongoing relationships and the satisfaction of making a true difference to children who need care to keep them safe at home. The position involves providing private duty in-home nursing care, working closely with children in their homes. Nurses will utilize their clinical expertise and critical thinking skills with the support of a dedicated team. As a member of the Skilled Nursing Unit, responsibilities include delivering high-quality care to pediatric clients (birth through 18) with various diagnoses, potentially providing complex care including trach & vent management, offering family education, performing clinical assessments, providing nursing care according to the care plan, and administering medication, treatment, and therapy.

Requirements

• Active and current license to practice as a professional nurse (LPN or LVN)
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned
• A calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication
• The ability to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated, with compassion, excellence, and reliability

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health care experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you.
• No experience working with children? No problem, we will train you.
