About The Position

The PRN School Nurse LPN will provide direct care to individuals who are ill or injured. This role involves screening and referral for healthcare conditions, medication administration, and chronic illness management. The nurse will assist in promoting a healthy and safe environment and act as a liaison between the school, family, and physician. Responsibilities also include auditing immunization records and student health forms, documenting in the EMR per school system guidelines, and educating staff and students on health-related issues and treatments as needed. The position requires completing online continuing education and attending meetings as requested, along with performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid, active license in the state of Georgia
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
• None required (experience)
• NA (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Responsibilities
