About The Position

Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives through counseling and support! Join Cross Country Education as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and help middle school students build confidence and overcome challenges in Lakeside, CA during the 2026–2027 academic year. Provide individual and group counseling services to support middle school students’ social-emotional, behavioral, and academic success. Conduct assessments, develop student support plans, and provide evidence-based counseling interventions. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and school teams to address student needs and promote positive outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with professional standards and school-based requirements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) License
• California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential (Required)
• School-based counseling experience required
