About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a School LVN / LPN for our client in Spanaway, WA 98387. This is a 42-week contract assignment. The role involves providing direct nursing care to medically fragile students within a school setting. The LVN/LPN will work in a single classroom throughout the school day, administering medications and treatments, monitoring student health, and assisting with daily living activities. Accurate documentation, collaboration with school staff and healthcare providers, and support for emergency procedures are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Active Washington State LPN/LVN license required prior to start date.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric, school, special education, or medically fragile student experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medically fragile students.
• Work in a single classroom throughout the school day.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs.
• Assist with feeding, mobility, toileting, and other activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and health records.
