The Manager, School Leadership Support serves as a key support to School Leaders and Assistant School Leaders across the Early Childhood Division. This role strengthens schoolwide systems and supports high quality instructional, operational, and cultural practices across schools. The position serves as an important liaison between school -based leadership teams, the Teaching and Learning team, and other Headquarters staff to ensure alignment, communication, and effective implementation of priorities. The Manager, School Leadership Support works alongside school leaders to help put Teaching and Learning initiatives and organizational expectations into action by turning them into practical school -level systems, clear next steps, and ways to track progress. This role also helps connect schools with other teams by sharing school-based needs, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen alignment and continuous improvement. Using AI tools when appropriate, this role also helps school leaders streamline systems, improve efficiency, enhance communication, and strengthen problem -solving. In addition, the position provides site -based leadership support when School Leaders or Assistant School Leaders are absent, ensuring continuity of operations and support for teachers, children, and families. Applies professional/managerial principles and judgment, within overall direction established by senior management. Solves complex technical or strategic problems; applies technology or business approaches in new ways; develops and recommends new alternatives. Regular interaction to communicate or negotiate important agreements, requiring considerable tact, sense of timing, and the ability to engender trust, plus sensitivity to diverse audiences.
