School Leader - Early Childhood Education
About The Position
Kiddie Country, part of the Endeavor Schools Family, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director (School Leader) to provide day-to-day leadership to their campus in Burke, VA. This role involves leading a team of educators and ensuring the quality care and education of children from infancy to early learners. The School Leader will foster and develop educational environments and staff, implement a Reggio-inspired curriculum, and create a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment that supports each child's growth. The position also focuses on creating a family-focused environment to encourage community growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education is preferred, or an equivalent combination of an AA degree, training, and 3-5 years' experience in Education.
- Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
- A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience with strong performance results.
- Proficiency with technology and software applications including current version of MS Office.
- May occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
