About The Position
Provides and administers direct services, under the supervision of an assigned licensed registered nurse (RN), to meet daily health needs of students in school, according to school district policies and under the direction of an assigned licensed registered nurse (RN).
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with school-age children.
- Experience in the medical field as a CMA and/or CNA.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification within 45 days of employment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions to include reading, interpreting, and following guidelines.
- Must have a valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle.
- May be required to gain access to military installations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to applicants who already hold First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
