About The Position

Food Service Management Company is seeking an experienced, energetic, and reliable Food Service Director to lead our food service program in the Boynton Beach/ Lake Worth FL area. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have prior school food service experience. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, day shift. We are looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in providing quality food service to students and staff while leading a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Must pass a level 2 background check.

Requirements

• Prior school food service management experience.
• Cooking experience required.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong organizational and Communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for trainings.
• Availability to work early mornings.

Nice To Haves

• NSLP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations in the district.
• Create school menus in compliance with USDA and district guidelines.
• Place and manage orders through multiple food vendors.
• Plans, prepare and supervise meal service operations.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and support efficient kitchen operations.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Attend professional development and training programs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
