About The Position

Children of America (COA) is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as School Directors. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a childcare facility, leading a team of educators, and executing our educational programming for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. You will work closely with senior leadership in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and allows you to share your passion for early childhood education. Our company culture values diversity and the unique attributes each team member brings. The programs offered include Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp.

Requirements

Minimum Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA
Minimum of 2–4 years of leadership experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed childcare facility
Advanced knowledge in early childhood education
Flexible in challenging situations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to build strong relationships
Commitment to professional development
Effective decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications and MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must meet state requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability and willingness to drive and/or travel up to 10% of the time for training, professional development, and organizational meetings
