About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Dance Teacher to lead engaging dance classes for elementary school students at various schools across the Bay Area. The role helps students ages 5–10 in grades K–5 build confidence, coordination, and creativity through age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment. Classes typically have approximately 8–10 students and last 1–1.5 hours. They may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the source ad lists approximately 2–5 hours weekly. The position is in person and pays $50–$65 per hour. Candidates attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program. Applicants must be local to the US or already have the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance.

Requirements

• At least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with children and managing a class.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation across assigned Bay Area locations.
• Able to complete required employment screening and documentation.
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
• Must be local to the US or already have the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Dance teaching or performance experience is preferred but not required.
• Availability two or more days per week is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage classes of approximately 8–10 students ages 5–10 in grades K–5.
• Teach age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment.
• Attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program.
• Prepare and set up required equipment.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
• Communicate with parents and school staff as needed.
• Provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Take session photos following program guidance.
