About The Position

The Center for Autism Research and Educational Services (CARES), located in Downingtown, PA is seeking a School Custodian to ensure the building is clean and safe for the students daily. Every day as a School Custodian you will ensure a clean and safe environment, perform daily maintenance duties as needed, work independently after the operating school hours, and clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, offices, and bathrooms daily.

Requirements

• Trade or High School Diploma /GED
• At least two years commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a health care setting.
• Knowledge of general maintenance activities is essential.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Two years related experience.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Perform daily maintenance duties as needed
• Work independently after the operating school hours
• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, offices, and bathrooms daily
