About The Position
This is a full-time, year-round position for a School Custodian located in Cleveland, Ohio. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety in various areas of a school facility, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and other supplies
- Report any damages, repairs, or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow proper safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals appropriately
- Secure the building by locking doors and windows after cleaning
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor
