About The Position

RPM Staffing is hiring School Custodians to support local schools for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Frisco, Texas. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for learning and community activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience required (school or institutional setting is a plus).
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and scrubbers.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and products.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass required background checks and clearances.

Nice To Haves

• School or institutional setting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing thorough cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Emptying trash and recycling bins and disposing of waste properly.
• Maintaining clean and sanitary restrooms by cleaning fixtures and replenishing supplies.
• Setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events, meetings, and school activities.
• Monitoring and reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs.
• Completing minor repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs, fixing small leaks).
• Assisting with snow removal, grounds keeping, and outdoor maintenance when needed.
• Securing the building at the end of the shift.
• Following all health, safety, and chemical-handling protocols.
