Requirements

• Have a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate that includes certification in the area of employment as specified by Bulletin 746, Revised, Louisiana Department of Education, or be eligible to obtain one; OR
• Provide official transcripts showing completion of a master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, completion of coursework required for school counselor, and completion of a counseling practicum in a school setting.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies, and the general public.
