About The Position

Transitions Counseling Services is hiring compassionate, dedicated clinicians to provide in-school counseling to students across partnering public school districts. As an in-school counselor, you will provide individual counseling to students during the school day, working closely and collaboratively with school counselors and staff to support each student's success. Positions are available serving students from elementary age through high school. Some evening and weekend hours are required to conduct family sessions, parent meetings, intake assessments, and treatment planning update sessions. Outside of school hours, your schedule is flexible and autonomous. Some travel between districts and between school buildings is part of the role and reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

Independently licensed clinicians (LICSW or LMHC), or provisionally licensed clinicians with a master's degree in social work or counseling who are working toward independent licensure
Experience with children and adolescents preferred
Comfort with documentation and electronic health records (we use SimplePractice)
A collaborative, warm, and student-centered approach
Reliable transportation is required.
