School Counselor (long-term substitute)
About The Position
Lower Merion School District is seeking to hire a School Counselor at Harriton High School. This is a long-term substitute position for the 2026-27 school year. Salary and benefits are set by the LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. The district reserves the right to close this posting at its discretion. Requirements
- PA Certification in School Counseling K-12 required
- Knowledge of PSSA
- Knowledge of SAP process
- Knowledge of 504s, IEPs and GIEPs
- Knowledge of the standards and practices of national and local guiding associations: ASCA and PSCA
- Out-of-state educators should explore PA's reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education.
- Good standing relative to Act 48 credits
- Child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire)
