School Counselor
About The Position
Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce that we have an opening for a full-time, leave replacement, School Counselor for the 2026-2027 School Year. This assignment has the potential for extension based on organizational needs. Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality education services to the community for over twenty years. At Celebrate the Children our School Counselors are surrounded by staff who are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to our program philosophy.
Requirements
- Degree in School Counseling or Social Work
- DOE Standard Certification required
- Minimum of two years of experience working with the special needs population
Nice To Haves
- DIR experience is preferred but not required
- Bilingual strongly preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services to students with alternative learning styles.
- Collaborate with a team of caring, compassionate, and dedicated staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and opportunities for growth within the organization.
