About The Position

The School Coordinator is a full-time, grant-funded, on-site implementation lead for Partners for Rural Impact’s Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) Initiative at the assigned school. Reporting to the Program Manager, FSCS, the Coordinator ensures students and families receive coordinated, high-quality supports and opportunities that promote attendance, engagement, academic success, and postsecondary readiness. The role coordinates and leverages school and community resources to expand services, avoid duplication, and address identified needs. The Coordinator dedicates 100% of their time to FSCS activities and supports its four pillars: integrated student supports; expanded and enriched learning opportunities from cradle to career; family and community engagement; and collaborative leadership and practices. The Coordinator works with public elementary and secondary schools, local educational agencies, community-based and nonprofit organizations, and other public or private entities to coordinate academic, social, and health services. The position is based onsite during PRI’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work may be needed for events, training, meetings, or program needs. This is a year-round, 12-month role; employees are expected to work when the assigned school district is not in session unless otherwise approved. Infrequent local, regional, or national travel may be required, with occasional overnight stays.
