About The Position

AtWork Personnel is seeking Cafeteria Food Service Workers for a local facility in Flower Mound, TX. 630am-2pm Monday-Friday $15 per hour Weekly Pay The Cafeteria Food Service Worker is responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving, and clean-up of meals in a school cafeteria environment. This role helps ensure students receive nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able to follow recipes.
• Previous food service, cafeteria, or kitchen experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to pass required background checks for working in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation including washing, cutting, and assembling food items.
• Serve meals to students and staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces.
• Follow food safety and handling procedures in accordance with health department guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, warmers, dishwashers, and food prep tools safely.
• Stock food stations, utensils, condiments, and supplies before meal service.
• Wash dishes, trays, cookware, and kitchen equipment after service.
• Monitor portion sizes and ensure meals meet school nutrition guidelines.
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries properly.
