About The Position
This is a School Bus Monitor position with anticipated hours. The role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of students on the school bus, working collaboratively with the bus driver, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment on the bus.
Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment physical examination (new employees).
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes student(s) with a smile.
- Fastens seat belts.
- Maintain a safe environment.
- Sits where children can be watched; back or middle of bus.
- Sits with student(s).
- Assigns seats as necessary.
- Solves or reports behavior issues to bus driver who will in turn report to the Supervisor of Transportation.
- Attends students at all times.
- Knows the bus routes.
- Works with the driver as a team.
- Keeps the bus clean.
- Assists the bus driver in checking the bus after each and every run, as well as clean the vehicle.
