About The Position

First Student is hiring a part-time School Bus Monitor/Aide in Ogden, Utah. The monitor assists the bus driver in providing students with a safe trip to and from school, helps students board and exit, supports children with special needs, and encourages students to follow safety rules. No prior experience is required; industry-leading safety and training programs are provided. The role requires English proficiency for training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications.

The position pays $18.50–$21.25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. It offers a flexible weekday schedule with split AM/PM routes and no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers. Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• Friendly, reliable, and patient when working with children.
• Team-oriented approach with a focus on safety.
• English proficiency for job-related communications.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help students safely board and exit the bus.
• Assist children with special needs during transport.
