About The Position

Alltown Bus Service is seeking Part-Time School Bus Drivers in Skokie, IL. This is a flexible weekday position with summers off, offering paid CDL training and starting pay of $25.00/hour. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for fully credentialed candidates with a CDL and Passenger/School Bus Endorsement. Requirements

• Must have a CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement for sign-on bonus
• No experience necessary (paid CDL training provided)
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to perform pre-trip inspections
• Must be able to maintain compliance with DOT regulations

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
