About The Position

Illinois Central School Bus is now hiring School Bus Drivers in O'Fallon. We are looking for candidates who are responsible, love children, and are very reliable. Our drivers have flexible hours and time off during school holidays. We offer a paid training program to become a school bus driver, where you can earn while you learn. We are committed to putting customers first, dedication to safety, and ambition to deliver the best, creating a working environment you’ll love.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Pass an employment and criminal background check.
• Pass a physical and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school.
• Operate a school bus in accordance with company policies and state/local regulations.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Adhere to a set schedule, with AM or PM only routes available.
• Option to take on extra work for up to 40 hours per week.
• Work year-round with school breaks off, including summer work opportunities.
