As a school bus driver at North American Central School Bus, you are not only an essential worker, but also a HERO to children every day! We are looking for candidates who are responsible, love children, and are very reliable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid driver’s license for 3 years or longer.
• All driver applicants must pass a background check, DOT physical and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drives a regular route, is a regular, spare or charter driver.
• Must read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including child checks.
• Transport students safely and greet the students with a positive attitude and smile.
• Cooperates and communicates with school personnel, parents, and students.
• Attendance at all safety and training meetings.
• Good verbal communication skills.
