About The Position

Durham School Services is immediately hiring School Bus Drivers in Trimble, MO. This role offers paid CDL training, flexible hours, no nights or weekends, and the opportunity to make a difference in the community. We are looking for individuals seeking a flexible, rewarding job close to home. This is a chance to join a trusted, safety-focused transportation provider where your work directly impacts students, families, and the community. The pay is $20.00 per hour with guaranteed hours of 25 per week. The location is 250 E. 92 HWY, Smithville, MO 64089. Walk-in interviews are available today from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and next week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Applicants are encouraged to bring a friend to apply and interview together.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no CDL needed to start)
• Must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Minimum age: 21
• If you’ve held a DOT-regulated driving role in the past 3 years, we must be able to verify that employment per DOT guidelines.
• Pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
• Compliance with DOT regulations (marijuana prohibited, even for medical use)
• Reliable attendance & safety-first attitude

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned local routes
• Transport students to and from school, sports, and events
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Follow all federal, state, local, and company safety rules
