About The Position

Mustang Transportation is seeking experienced, dependable, and team-first drivers for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Idaho Falls, ID, beginning in late August 2026. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of school children to and from school. This role is suited for individuals who are calm under pressure, reliable, friendly, and enjoy being part of a growing team. Mustang Transportation can also assist with obtaining a CDL. This job offers a flexible, on-call schedule, making it ideal for retirees, parents seeking hours that align with school schedules, and veterans with driving, safety, or service backgrounds. There is no regular or guaranteed schedule, allowing drivers to pick up shifts as needed. Typical shifts are in the early mornings and afternoons, usually totaling about 4-5 hours per day when scheduled.

Requirements

• Current CDL with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements
• Clean driving record and strong safety mindset
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Professional, easy to work with, and good under pressure
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
• A team player who shows up, pitches in, and keeps things running smoothly

Responsibilities

• Safely transport school-aged children to and from school
• Keep to scheduled routes and timelines with professionalism and precision
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized bus
