Full Time Bus Driver (180 Days) (SAHS Area)
About The Position
Join Aiken County Public Schools as a School Bus Driver and make a positive impact on students' daily lives. Requirements
- A valid SC driver’s license.
- A clean driving record and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to connect with students.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements preferred, but we offer FREE training!
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Follow scheduled routes while maintaining timely arrivals and departures.
- Ensure the safety of all students while boarding, riding, and exiting the bus.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in excellent working condition.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff when needed.
