About The Position

NRT Bus, Inc. is hiring for the 2026-2027 School Year for a Part-Time School Bus Driver position. They offer paid training for those without a CDL and a sign-on bonus for licensed CDL drivers with P & S endorsements. The role involves safely transporting students, performing inspections, and adhering to traffic laws and district policies. This position is ideal for retirees, former professionals, veterans, and active community members who value purpose and service.

Requirements

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
