About The Position

We're Hiring Part-Time School Bus Attendants!! Join one of Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures and help create a safe, calm, and supportive ride for students with diverse needs. Enjoy a flexible split-shift schedule with evenings, weekends, holidays, and summers free while making a lasting impact on the lives of students and their families. As a School Bus Attendant, you’ll help transport students living with disabilities to and from school safely and with the utmost care. You’ll be a friendly and familiar face at the beginning and end of each child’s school day, while building trusted relationships with students and their families.

Requirements

Experience working with children or individuals living with disabilities
Monday to Friday both AM and PM availability (6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 4:30pm)
Have proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
Clean criminal record check and drug test
Proficient in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

Assist students on and off the school bus and support the Driver with securements
Complete incident reports, and daily communication with guardians
Assist the Driver in maintaining safety procedures, including emergency evacuations when required
Monitor student behavior during transport to ensure a calm, supportive, and safe environment
Build trust rapport with both students and guardians
