Master’s of Social Work or Master’s of Clinical Counseling Internship NYAP – School Based (Lancaster, Ohio) National Youth Advocate Program is accepting internship applications for our STAR (School Based) team in our Columbus region. Working with the STAR team, you will gain hands-on experience working with youth in schools and in the community. You will also rotate through various other therapeutic areas throughout the agency to gain insight to the communities and clients we serve. This position works closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners. Enrollment in a Master level Social Work or Master’s level clinical Counseling program required. Your Internship Experience may include: Providing appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting or exceeding established outcomes thresholds on behalf of persons served. Traveling as needed, to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements. Completing all required documentation in a timely manner. Completing all required training in a timely manner. Coordinating and monitoring services for the youth and family in the community for mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services. Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals. Actively participates in the weekly supervision process.
