About The Position

This position (offered as a Level I fieldwork) provides an in-depth “shadow” experience for current occupational therapy students: Students will be supervised by a practicing occupational therapist, observing the therapist’s sessions and documentation. Students will not be providing treatment to students. Students will experience collaborating with other professionals, as well as supporting engagement in classroom activities. Student will practice writing session notes; develop client-based goals; and plan a treatment session activity. Schedule: 1 day weekly, 7:45am - 3:15pm OR 8:30am - 4pm (TBD) This is an unpaid internship opportunity that is only open to current students. The internship may be able to satisfy course credit if approved by the student's institution of learning.
