About The Position

KVC Academy is hiring a School-Based Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and teens, with a focus on trauma-informed care. This role follows a school-day schedule, giving you a genuine work-life balance with evenings and weekends free and time off that aligns with school breaks and holidays. You'll collaborate closely with school staff, families, and KVC teammates to make sure every child receives the highest level of care and support.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling
LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, or LPC licensure/certification
Clinical counseling skills
Individual therapy skills
Family therapy skills
Group therapy skills
Trauma-informed care knowledge
Child and adolescent therapy skills
Clinical documentation skills
Working knowledge of clinical theory, therapeutic modalities, and systems-based practice
Analytical ability to handle moderately complex administrative tasks
Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified caseload with strong attention to detail
Ability to work productively and respectfully with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds

Responsibilities
