Responsibilities

  • Provide regular individual supervision and facilitate team meetings for School-Based Support Specialists and other assigned staff.
  • Accompany School-Based Support Specialists to client schools as needed to support employee safety, ensure quality service delivery, and provide ongoing coaching and guidance.
  • Assist staff in identifying appropriate referral needs, managing caseloads effectively, and maintaining compliance with DMH standards and departmental expectations.
  • Participate in client staffing meetings to identify service needs, establish treatment goals and objectives, and provide clinical oversight for assigned cases.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives through case consultation, case presentations, and ongoing clinical feedback.
  • Review and monitor documentation, ensuring compliance with agency, regulatory, and payer requirements while providing corrective coaching and performance management when necessary.
  • Review critical intervention plans and conduct regular case reviews to support quality client care and risk management.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and backup support for supervisees during absences or when additional expertise is needed.
  • Maintain a small outpatient and/or school-based caseload in Adams County, providing direct mental health services to clients while supporting the overall clinical needs of the program.
  • Provide individual, family, group, and skills-based interventions utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients achieve treatment goals.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care for clients on your caseload.
  • Participate in crisis intervention services during regular business hours and as part of an on-call rotation as assigned.
  • Conduct outreach activities and home visits when appropriate to engage clients and support continuity of care, particularly during school breaks or periods of increased need.
  • Participate in emergency services and provide rapid support during emotional or behavioral crises.
  • Collaborate in the development and review of treatment plans, annual updates, and periodic treatment reviews to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Report critical incidents and staff responses to the Assistant Director or Director of School-Based Services in a timely manner.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members as needed.
  • Review travel reimbursements and verify the appropriateness and necessity of mileage documentation.
  • Support program operations through data collection, program evaluation, grant initiatives, reporting requirements, and contract compliance activities.
  • Participate in staff development opportunities, leadership training, orientation programs, and continuing education activities.
  • Engage in self-assessment and performance evaluation processes aligned with Centerstone standards and expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures, utilization review requirements, Clinical Records standards, and all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Present educational and outreach programs within the community to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and strengthen community partnerships.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Centerstone policies, professional standards of practice, and applicable ethical guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to person-centered care, staff development, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement.
