About The Position

Connected Hearts Pediatric Therapy, LLC is hiring School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for two separate charter school campuses in the Port St. Lucie area. One campus serves K-8 students, and the other serves high school students. Each campus has its own opening, making these two distinct positions. The roles are available immediately, and the company is eager to onboard a new team member as soon as possible. Both full-time and part-time employment options are available. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about school-based therapy who can work independently on a daily basis but also value direct supervisor support.

Requirements

• Active Florida SLP license, or SLPA registration/certification in good standing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable managing your own schedule and caseload within the school day.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Prior school-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students per their IEPs.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed.
• Develop and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation of services provided.
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and other members of the IEP team.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student progress.
• Manage a caseload independently while staying connected with your supervisor for guidance, case consultation, and support.
