About The Position

Arbour Counseling Services is seeking Licensed Clinicians or Master's Level Clinicians working towards their licensure for Part Time and Full Time opportunities in Norwell, MA. These roles combine School Based and Outpatient clinical work. School Based Clinicians will provide mental health services to children in elementary, middle, and high schools, addressing issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. They will collaborate with school personnel, external treatment providers, and families to ensure a comprehensive continuum of care. The Outpatient counseling program offers flexible treatment options and support, suitable for individuals stepping down from higher levels of care, seeking limited treatment, or exploring therapy for the first time. Arbour's Outpatient services include individual, group, couples, and family therapy, medication evaluation and management, school-based treatment, and elder services. Arbour empowers clinicians to shape their professional experiences and offers flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university
  • Completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits
  • Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills
  • Familiarity with support groups
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds
  • Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping
  • Appropriate citizenship work documentation
  • Pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation

Nice To Haves

  • CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients or family's needs and eligibility for services
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions in accordance with assigned client needs
  • Support clients through collaboration with client’s family, school, other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources
  • Provide case management, referrals, and treatment planning for assigned clients
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources
