About The Position

Join Our Team as a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) at The Arc of the Ozarks. This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who thrives when working directly with children, helping them develop the functional, sensory, and motor skills they need to succeed in school and life. As an OT with The Arc of the Ozarks, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly inside school environments, meeting students right where they are and providing support in one of the most pivotal developmental settings of their lives. Requirements

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
NBCOT Certification & Missouri OT License (in good standing)
EMR proficiency and basic Microsoft Office skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
A valid driver’s license
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Commitment to student-centered, school-based intervention
Passion for making a difference through connection, compassion, and skill-building

Responsibilities

Provide assessments, treatment plans, and interventions for occupational performance, fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional independence
Deliver services on-site in schools, building relationships with students, teachers, and the educational team
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals
Support and supervise OT assistants, as needed
Utilize evidence-based techniques to create measurable progress
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold Missouri DESE standards
Continue growing through professional development
Be available on-site two days per week
