Agape is seeking a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to deliver direct clinical and counseling services to students and other clients served by Agape Child & Family Services, Inc. The Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist provides hope-centered mental health services to students and other clients served by Agape Child & Family Services, both in person and virtually when appropriate. The therapist maintains a primary assignment at a local high school while also carrying additional cases within the organization as assigned. Services include individual counseling, psychoeducational groups, crisis intervention as needed, clinical assessment, care coordination, and prevention-focused programming. Grounded in Agape’s commitment to the Science of Hope, the therapist incorporates hope-centered principles into clinical practice by helping clients identify meaningful goals, strengthen their ability to develop multiple pathways toward those goals, build agency and motivation, and navigate barriers that may impact their well-being and success. The therapist utilizes strengths-based, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed approaches that promote resilience, well-being, and long-term flourishing. The therapist collaborates with school personnel, families, caregivers, students, Agape staff, and community providers to address mental health concerns, strengthen protective factors, reduce barriers to academic and personal success, and connect clients and families with additional services and supports when needed. Through this collaborative approach, the therapist helps create environments where students and families experience greater hope, connection, stability, and opportunity to flourish.
