About The Position

Balance Point Wellness is seeking qualified licensed therapists (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist, etc.) to provide mental health therapy to children and adolescents in Baltimore County schools. This is a Mental Health Therapist position within the Baltimore County schools, not a Guidance Counselor position. Balance Point Wellness is an accredited community-based holistic mental health and wellness center providing counseling/psychotherapy, psychiatry, adventure therapy, and wellness services. They have locations in Baltimore, Bel Air, Salisbury, and Hunt Valley, MD, as well as a Telehealth division and school-based programs in Baltimore County and Harford County Schools.

Requirements

  • Master’s/doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
  • Licensed in Maryland to provide mental health treatment
  • Background Check
  • Highly organized and possesses time management

Nice To Haves

  • Psychotherapy experience in a community setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned caseload (Provide ongoing therapy)
  • Complete psychosocial assessments
  • Complete contact notes for completed sessions- All documentation is completed in a cloud-based EHR
  • Development of person-centered treatment plans when necessary
